The A-Designs Audio HM2EQ is a stereo tube based eq, with three bands, each with 6 fixed frequency points. It is more of a sweetening/sculpting eq, not super surgical. Great for tracking and mixing on the 2 bus.

What's good:

Awesome sound. The highs and mids are something very special. Nice for adding air and a bit of lift at the 10K and 15K points.

What's not quite as good:

As the unit is dual-mono, the channels are not linked, so you won't have precise stereo control, but this is relatively minor. The unit is a bit pricey, but worth it if you are looking for a a nice tube tracking or 2 bus eq.

The hammer is an awesome unit. I've used one a few times. Freaking great eq for tracking acoustic guitars with.

Stepped pots would be a nice addition to this EQ for precise stereo matching as well as for easier documentation and recall....... provided the steps were fine enough for subtle adjustments.
