We are already seeing the effects. I've watched youtube videos where the music was created with AI. Granted, it wasn't that great, but this is obviously an evolving tech. I think anyone making money from music should be concerned.

Cubase Pro 12 is now out. I'm finally noticing a big improvement over Cubase Pro 11.5 in terms of CPU usage. Kudos to Steinberg for this update. Here's a comparison of the exact same session's CPU usage in 11, and then Cubase 12. Session is 32 bit float, 48KHz

The features look great. I kind of wish the made it look more like a traditional console, instead of the budget console look to it, with XLR's sticking out of the top of it. A meter bridge would have been cool, and the logo looks a bit tacky to me. All that aside, the features are awesome!

I had an editing session today. All lead vocals (female) done through the Coil 286 and Wunder CM7. Smooth as can be. I need to get another one again now. :laughing:

Damn, my touchscreen is unresponsive again tonight...

Ended up with the SL88 which is awesome. I then recently sold it and bought the Nord Grand :) The keybed on the Nord kept sucking me in.

Good now. Recalibrated and seems to be back to normal. It was only letting me touch once before becoming unresponsive.

Oops... I spoke too soon. Touchscreen is non responsive again :shock:

And it worked. I was worried for a bit. It just got stuck and I ended up pulling the ac cable out. It resumed in golden boot mode when I plugged it back in. The touchscreen works again now...
