Stratocasters... Fender alternatives?

Hey all...
Anyone have any thoughts on Fender alternatives for Stratocasters?
Nash
LSL
Grosh
Underwood
or... ???

any opinions on quality and guitars worth buying?

From what I understand, Nash are basically overpriced partscasters with stuff from AllParts slapped together and relic'd. I've heard from a few people I respect that the build quality can be sketchy with Nash. I'd go for builders that are luthiers that make and shape their own body and necks.

Grosh I think does. Looks like LSL does too. I don't know about Underwood. Xotic makes great strats.
